splash! Festival - #WaveOfSolidarity

Together with all the European Festivals, we try to provide an escape from reality to celebrate life. Unfortunately not this summer… But we still have the power to amplify voices, which must be heard. That’s why we want to create a #WaveOfSolidarity – together with you!

Five years ago a few activists started their rescue missions at the the mediterranean sea to save lives and fight for human rights. With #WaveOfSolidarity we want to raise awareness for civil sea rescue – together we should inform us, educate us and see how we can help. This summer is different in a lot of ways.
This summer we will not be in the front rows
or up on stages
or behind the scenes
providing you a few days of celebration

But nothing has changed on the Mediterranean Sea.
There are still thousands of people losing their lives trying to find safety.
Five years ago, a small group of activists have set sails to rescue lives.
They keep the spotlight on human rights.

Today we create a #WaveOfSolidarity.
Together!
