How climate-friendly can your festival stay be and how can we support you?

What awaits you:  

• You travel climate-friendly by bus or train? We will reward you with a welcome drink at the check-in. 
• You come by bike? We'll give you a free service flat (more information to follow). With it, you can use our sanitary facilities and shuttle buses free of charge.  
• In addition, our partner carbon connect will compensate the CO2e emissions of your arrival and departure. 
• Important: There will be no parking spaces available for Green Community campers this year. 
• Together we will save food and offer you the possibility of an exchange stand (foodsharing) for leftover food and drinks 
• Together we want to make it: We separate waste and try to reduce the residual waste rate to less than 10-15%.  
• Experiment: For the first time we try to recycle organic waste directly in Ferropolis. Use the brown garbage cans and we will build a compost in our production area. There your garbage becomes fresh soil.  
• Use the solar energy to charge your (cell phone) batteries.

COMMUNITY

For the first time this year, you have the chance to apply for the Green Community Camp with your own community idea. There are no limits to your imagination: Theme parties, karaoke, rap battles, tarot card reading, speed dating, beer pong tournament - you name it!  The important thing is that the idea should promote community and be in line with our Green Camp guidelines. 

We will select the best ideas and implement them together with you at the Green Community Camp. The Green Community Camp is located in the middle of the campsite and guarantees you a central camping spot for the weekend. Besides the integration of your own idea in the program, you have the chance to win tickets for you and your crew for next year.  

So what do you have to do:  

Submit your idea in the registration form by 16.06.23. 

The ideas should promote the community and be in line with our Green Community Camp guidelines.  We will select the best ideas and work with you to implement them. 

The Green Camp will have its own timetable where you and your crew will be presented. 

Among all implemented ideas we will raffle tickets for you and your crew.

1 - Togetherness and respect 
You respect not only your tent neighbors, but also your environment. The Green Camp is a place for you to share, exchange and get to know each other.  
2 | Minimalism 
You pack sustainably and bring only what you need to the festival. Reuse is a matter of the heart for you. 
3 | Waste separation 
You separate your waste and dispose of it in the designated waste containers for cardboard, plastic, metal, residual waste, organic waste and butts. 
4 | Take away 
After the festival you take everything you brought home with you.

Important: You must already have a festival ticket to register.  

Afterwards you will receive a confirmation email from us, in which all information is summarized.  

Why do we want to know your age? Some give-aways that we distribute as a welcome are only allowed to be given out to adults. With the inquiry we secure ourselves in addition.  

If you want to participate in the community (optional) submit your ideas for the community via the form as well. The ideas should promote the community and be in accordance with our Green Community Camp rules. We will select the best ideas and work with you to implement them.

The Green Community Camp is centrally located on the campsite next to the FAIRopolis area.  After the check in at the wristband exchange you will find the entrance directly behind the small forest. The area is surrounded and marked separately. You can see the exact location on our map (information will follow).  

On site you can check in at our reception. Show here on your cell phone - please do not print it out - your registration confirmation. Don't worry if that doesn't work: your name will also be on our list. Our Green Champs will be happy to help you find a suitable spot.

The less luggage, the easier it is to travel by bus and train or bicycle. We recommend you to use the service of Utopia and rent the camping equipment on site. If you do so, please inform us in the registration form. We will then pass the information on to Utopia. The booking has to be done via the website of Utopia/Mein Zelt steht schon.  

For organizational reasons we are not able to reserve spots for groups. Please arrive in time to find a suitable spot as a group.  

We will reserve a central spot for everyone who brings an idea to the Green Community Camp.
