Seit das splash! 2022 aus der Coronapause und Aggu b&ouml;se aus Ecke kam, sorgte er jedes Jahr f&uuml;r denkw&uuml;rdige Momente. Dass das splash! 2023 dank Aggu den legend&auml;ren Komiker Otto Waalkes auf der Mainstage beherbergen durfte, war einer der unsterblichen splash!-Momente, aber sicher nicht sein letzter ⚡️ 
Nach diversen Gastauftritten im Jahr 2024 wird es n&auml;chstes Jahr wieder Zeit, Aggu auf die Mainstage loszulassen 🔫 
Wir k&ouml;nnen uns bisher nur ausmalen, was der sch&ouml;nste Vokuhila Berlins sich f&uuml;r 2025 &uuml;berlegen wird. Nur eines ist klar: Wer nicht dabei war, wird&rsquo;s bereuen 😈

Wie es uns geht? Fabelhaft! Wann Lineup? Jetzt!

Das Warten auf den ersten Lineup-Drop, der ja traditionell eher im Winter kommt, nervt &ndash; das haben wir verstanden. Daher lassen wir uns nicht lumpen und servieren euch jetzt schon einen Gru&szlig; aus der K&uuml;che. Da internationale Gerichte immer etwas l&auml;nger k&ouml;cheln m&uuml;ssen, gibt es erstmal einen k&ouml;stlichen Vorgeschmack auf das Deutschrap Lineup des splash! 2025: 
 
Wir freuen uns, mit K.I.Z drei absolute splash!-Allstars willkommen zuhause hei&szlig;en zu d&uuml;rfen. Dass die Kannibalen in Zivil besonders in ihrem zweiten Wohnzimmer auf Ferropolis denkw&uuml;rdige und einzigartige Momente schaffen, d&uuml;rfte allen bewusst sein, die jemals in den Genuss einer K.I.Z Show auf dem splash! gekommen sind. Auch Ski Aggu darf mittlerweile schon fast nicht mehr fehlen &ndash; nachdem er 2023 mit Otto Waalkes pers&ouml;nlich die Mainstage aufgemischt hat und letztes Jahr nicht nur einen &Uuml;berraschungsauftritt hinlegte, k&ouml;nnen wir 25 nur aufgeregt herbeifiebern.

$OHO BANIs denkw&uuml;rdiger Festivalabschluss auf dem Beach 2023 ist uns da allerdings nicht weniger im Ged&auml;chtnis geblieben &ndash; auch hier herrscht Vorfreude pur, insbesondere in Anbetracht dessen, was seither alles bei $OHO passiert ist. Dazu gesellt sich auch noch Rap-Queen-in-the-Making badm&oacute;mzjay, die mit ihren unbestreitbaren Toplevel Liveskills sowohl haltlose Moshpits als auch emotionale G&auml;nsehaut-Vibes auf Ferropolis loslassen wird. Liveskills, Moshpits, aber auch G&auml;nsehaut? Damit kann auch Apsilon dienen, dessen gesellschaftliche Beobachtungen in diesen Zeiten so viele Ohren wie m&ouml;glich erreichen m&uuml;ssen!

Besonders freuen wir uns auch auf makkos Deb&uuml;t als Solo-Act. Mit den Boloboys hat er bereits abgerissen, 2025 wird sich Deutschraps sympathischste Zahnl&uuml;cke ganz alleine auf der gro&szlig;en B&uuml;hne beweisen. Eine weitere Premiere: Teven, die mit jeder Menge Herz und Talent das erste Mal auf dem splash! stehen wird. Boondawg hingegen, hat sich bereits in die Herzen der splash!-Fam gespielt &ndash; beharrlich und energiegeladen von Fairo- &uuml;ber Greenstage bis zu seiner bisher gr&ouml;&szlig;ten splash!-Show n&auml;chstes Jahr. Auch Senkrechtstarter Jassin konnte sich 2024 bereits beweisen &ndash; da war er noch ein unbeschriebenes Blatt. &Auml;hnliches k&ouml;nnte man &uuml;ber Energieb&uuml;ndel Lelosa sagen. Wir k&ouml;nnen uns bisher nur ausmalen, wo er 2025 stehen wird, wenn das splash! vom 03. bis 05. Juli die Stadt aus Eisen in die gr&ouml;&szlig;te Deutschrap-Party Deutschlands verwandelt.

We are exhausted, happy and proud - but not idle.

We messed up and want to put things right: The simplification of the pricing for our parking and car/caravan tickets has gone badly wrong. We don&#39;t want to leave it like this.

&nbsp;

The following adjustments will therefore take effect immediately:

🅿️ The parking ticket is available for &euro;29.95.

🚌 The Car / Caravan ticket will again be available as an add-on, will only be purchased per vehicle, not per person and will cost &euro;79.95 per vehicle. This is necessary to cover costs for space rental, logistics, security, etc.

 
Anyone who has already purchased tickets from one of the affected categories can easily cancel and replace them. Just send an e-mail with your already purchased ticket to ticketing@goodlive.ag.

We follow every discussion in our comment columns with interest and attention. It quickly becomes apparent that the topic of prices in particular is currently a major concern.

However, we have to ask for your understanding here: 
The costs of organizing a festival like splash! are almost impossible to absorb in these times. Costs for production, fees, logistics, personnel and countless other areas have risen many times over in recent years. Inflation itself is almost just a drop in the ocean.&nbsp;

Year after year, we work on a price structure that enables the lowest possible entry threshold - after all, splash! is for everyone. 
For season 24, this resulted in a confusing jumble of different ticket categories and upgrades to enable all visitors to tailor their individual ticket as cost-effectively as possible.

This system was fair, but confusing for many. For the new season, it was therefore very important to us to simplify the ticket system and make it clearer.

However, charging everyone in the car camping area the same ticket price, regardless of whether they arrived with or without their own car, makes little sense. The idea was that it should only take one click to get the ticket you want without having to dig through add-ons.

We always strive to make splash! accessible to everyone, regardless of their bank balance, and to make sure you have as good a time as possible. For season 24, we have not increased the ticket price and have even lowered the beer price - despite record production costs. Unfortunately, we cannot bear additional costs such as the transaction fees for cashless top-ups for you and we certainly do not want to pass them on to every ticket price across the board.

We&#39;re sorry that our adjustments for 2025 were not on point - and we&#39;ve now settled that.

Please never hesitate to let us know what you think. We are always grateful for clear words and will do our best to work with your feedback. Nevertheless, the logistical effort involved in a festival beer will never allow us to offer it at pub prices.

Ultimately, we are in the same boat. Keeping the prices low so that as many people as possible can enjoy unforgettable splash! memories is very important to us. Nevertheless, splash! must remain financially viable - and that&#39;s not easy at the moment. Nevertheless, you should of course only pay for car camping if you bring a car with you. We wanted to straighten that out very quickly.

1.&nbsp;these General Terms and Conditions of Participation apply to all competitions organized by Goodlive Festival GmbH or legally affiliated companies on the website operated by them and in which reference is made to these terms and conditions. Any additional terms and conditions for the individual competitions take precedence over these terms and conditions.

2.&nbsp;any natural person who is permanently resident in Germany and has reached the age of 18 is entitled to participate in a competition. Persons with limited legal capacity are only entitled to participate, subject to statutory provisions, if Goodlive Festival GmbH expressly permits this for the respective competition and the legal guardian(s) give their effective consent. Legal representatives and employees of Goodlive Festival GmbH and its legally affiliated companies, as well as their relatives and in-laws in the 1st and 2nd degree are not eligible to participate. Persons who are not eligible to participate are not entitled to a prize even if a prize is awarded. Participation mediations via participation and entry services cannot be considered.

3. each participant may only participate in their own name. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

4.&nbsp;when participating in the competition, some mandatory information and some voluntary information will be requested, e.g. surname, first name, address, age and/or e-mail address and/or telephone number. All of this personal data will be treated by Goodlive Festival GmbH in accordance with the privacy policy and any additional declaration of consent that may have been issued. In order to participate in the competition, all information provided must be truthful. Failure to do so may result in exclusion.

5.&nbsp;if participation in a competition requires the sending of materials, the following applies:

&nbsp;

	<li>The participant will not provide or upload any punishable, discriminatory, youth-endangering pornographic, racist and/or otherwise extremist content to Goodlive Festival GmbH and in this respect indemnifies Goodlive Festival GmbH against claims by third parties.</li>
	<li>Furthermore, each participant assures that he/she is the sole owner of all rights of use and exploitation of the materials transmitted by him/her and in this respect indemnifies Goodlive Festival GmbH from all claims of third parties.</li>
	<li>Each participant grants Goodlive Festival GmbH the exclusive and transferable right, free of charge, to use these materials without restriction in terms of time, space and content. The same applies if materials are created by the participant as part of the competition, e.g. photos, video contributions, always in compliance with the personal rights of the participant.</li>
	<li>Each participant also transfers ownership of the materials submitted to Goodlive Festival GmbH. A transfer of ownership will only not take place if the participant expressly declares in writing to Goodlive Festival GmbH that he/she does not wish to transfer ownership.</li>
	<li>Such a declaration must be received by Goodlive Festival GmbH at the address stated in the imprint no later than 10 days after the end of a competition (day of the announcement of the winner). After this period has expired, the label may destroy all materials submitted.</li>

6. no liability is assumed for any problems or defects in connection with computers, connections, networks, etc. used by the participant for sending an entry until it arrives in the sphere of Goodlive Festival GmbH.

7. the Goodlive Festival GmbH accepts liability for the materials submitted to it only in the event of intentional or grossly negligent action by its employees or third parties commissioned by it. 
&nbsp;

8. Goodlive Festival GmbH reserves the right to exchange the respective announced prizes and replace them with other prizes in the event of a change in the legal situation or jurisdiction or due to a court prohibition, to change the respective course of the competition or to cancel the competition altogether. In such cases, any winners who have already been determined are not entitled to any claims against Goodlive Festival GmbH or legally affiliated companies.

9. the determination of the winners is carried out by Goodlive Festival GmbH, its employees, vicarious agents or authorized third parties. Goodlive Festival GmbH is not liable for slightly negligent behavior of these persons in determining the winners.

10. in the event of a win, the participant will be notified in text form (in particular by post, e-mail or fax) or by telephone. If the notification is made in text form, the winner is obliged to inform Goodlive Festival GmbH within ten working days of receipt of the notification in the form described therein (timely dispatch is sufficient) whether he/she accepts the prize. If the notification is made by telephone, Goodlive Festival GmbH will leave a message if the winner cannot be reached personally, if technically possible. 
The winner must inform Goodlive Festival GmbH within three working days of receiving this notification in the form described therein (timely dispatch is sufficient) whether he/she accepts the prize. In the event of non-compliance with these deadlines, Goodlive Festival GmbH is entitled to draw a new winner and award the prize elsewhere. Claims for compensation by the initially drawn winner against Goodlive Festival GmbH are excluded.

11. if the prizes offered are non-cash prizes, Goodlive Festival GmbH will not pay out the equivalent value in cash. In the event of a prize (especially in the case of travel), the participant declares that any costs, expenses and other services that are not offered as prizes or included in the prize will be borne by the participant. Furthermore, Goodlive Festival GmbH assumes no liability for damages caused by the participant and is indemnified by the participant against all claims by third parties in this respect.

12. if the participant violates special rules of the game or these conditions, Goodlive Festival GmbH is entitled to exclude him from participation at any time without prior notice.

13. Legal recourse is excluded.

14. if individual provisions of these GTC are invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. German law shall apply. If the customer is a registered trader, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is expressly agreed to be Chemnitz as the registered office of the provider.

Once a year, the biggest hip-hop party in the country takes place under the mighty bucket-wheel excavators on the Ferropolis peninsula. For one weekend, tranquil Saxony-Anhalt becomes not only the site of the world&#39;s largest permanent moshpit, but home base for the reunion of the hip-hop scene. This is where the magic happens that the German rap scene talks about all year long: Surprising collabos on stage and escalation in front of it, celebrating the goodlife at the campsite the next morning and swimming in the clear waters of Gremminer See while the hottest DJs play their sets - and all that with the best community in the world: you! Also in this festival season this recipe for success continues - the splash! invites you again to the most unique festival avenue in Europe with a lineup that promises you the heaviest acts of the hip hop world with the most surprising new discoveries and is always two steps ahead of its time.

<h3>Ferropolis</h3>

This exciting ensemble will be the backdrop for this year&#39;s splash! Festival! Whether impressive monuments of industrial history or nature and relaxation on the shores of Lake Gremmin - at Ferropolis every:r splash! visitor will get his money&#39;s worth! The &quot;city of iron&quot; Ferropolis is located between Leipzig and Berlin, near the small town of Gr&auml;fenhainichen. Since 2009, the peninsula has been home to the splash! Festival. If the landmarks of Ferropolis, the imposing excavators, could tell stories, many of them would tell of the mindblowing live shows in hip-hop Germany. However, their story begins significantly earlier, when the region was still an open-cast mining area. Since the turn of the millennium, not only has Lake Gremmin been created, which is the perfect spot for refreshment in the warm festival summer, but also one of Germany&#39;s most unforgettable open-air museums and event locations, Ferropolis.&nbsp;

<h3>25 years &ndash; and it don&rsquo;t stop!&nbsp;</h3>

What began in 1998 in a Chemnitz youth club has made rap history. At a time when hip hop was not yet the biggest music culture in the world, the creative environment around the Chemnitz based rap crew Tefla &amp; Jaleel founded splash! - the first hip hop festival in the German-speaking area. Within a year, the number of visitors increased tenfold. The splash! became THE meeting place of the growing hip hop scene. Numerous rap stars had their most legendary performances on splash! stages, many national and international hip hop GOATs were part of the festival lineup long before their breakthrough.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&quot;Probably no other event has shaped hip hop in the German-speaking scene over the last 25 years like splash! Being a contemporary witness of this unique festival history with all its ups, downs and legendary hip hop moments fills me personally with a lot of gratitude.&quot;&nbsp; - DJ Ron&nbsp;

Yet the history of splash! is not only on stage a quite eventful one: In the 2000&rsquo;s, the future of the festival was uncertain at times. For years, heavy rain and storms had ruined the splash! weekend for the crowd. Not even the incredible shows by international rap legends like Mobb Deep or the unique format &quot;splash! meets Classic&quot; could change that. The bad weather crisis also had a financial impact. It is thanks to numerous rap stars of the time, such as Samy Deluxe, the Beginners, Torch and Azad, as well as the Robert Schumann Philharmonic Orchestra Chemnitz, that sufficient donations were collected in 2006 under the appeal &quot;Save splash!&quot; to enable the splash! Festival to continue.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&quot;At that time, it felt like seeing your child lying in intensive care. Only through the will and commitment of many companies, visitors and artists the splash! could be saved. In 2007, the festival left its home in Chemnitz. On the Pouch peninsula near Bitterfeld, splash! celebrated its ninth and tenth anniversaries with headliners like Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg. Two years later, what belongs together finally came together: splash! moved to Ferropolis. The legendary &quot;City of Iron&quot; has been the permanent home base of Germany&#39;s best hip-hop festival ever since.&nbsp;&nbsp;

&quot;For me as a long-time visitor, Ferropolis has always been a place of longing. The mighty scenery gives the impression of a parallel world, where escapism and festival ecstasy have a much stronger effect. Parallel to the new homebase, rap entered what was probably the greatest peak phase in its history, and splash! accompanied the developments of the national and international hip-hop scene up close. From Kendrick Lamar to Travis Scott and Nicki Minaj to RIN, Haftbefehl and Cro - the best rap acts of their generations belonged on splash! stages and created real magic. The joint performances of Ufo361 and Future, Gucci Mane and Haftbefehl, as well as Casper and Marteria have long since gone down in the hip-hop history books. And the story is far from over...&nbsp;

With this ticket you will have access to the camping site and the festival area for the whole festival weekend and you can visit the live program. &nbsp;

You can choose between the regular weekend ticket&nbsp;or the&nbsp;premium weekend ticket, depending on where you want to camp and how much comfort you want to enjoy during your splash! weekend.

In addition, there are various add-ons for glamping, Car/Caravan Camping,&nbsp;as well as parking tickets, which you should book before the limited contingents are sold out.

<h3>WEATHER &amp; FOOD</h3>

To avoid any unpleasant surprises, check the weather forecast and pack weatherproof clothes, rain and sun protection.

Also plan your food for the weekend. There is no supermarket on the festival grounds. Drinks are available at the splash! Mini-Market at the camping site. On the festival grounds and at the camping site you can snack your way through a wide range of street food stands. There are also vegan and vegetarian offers.

<h1>THE DAY OF ARRIVAL</h1>

With your festival ticket you can arrive from Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025&nbsp;and settle in at the campsite already. An earlier arrival is not possible, because the camping area is not accessible before. &nbsp;

Ferropolis is located near Gr&auml;fenhainichen, about 20km away from Dessau and is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car or caravan.

We recommend you to travel by train or bus for several reasons: You will save extra costs for parking and avoid long traffic jams - the access roads to the festival area are usually very crowded at the beginning and end of the festival. Last but not least, traveling by public transport is much better for the environment and reduces your ecological footprint.

Please plan some extra time for your arrival, to wait for the shuttle bus or the allocation of a parking space, to change your wristband and to navigate your way around the campsite. &nbsp;

You have arrived at the campsite? Great! Now it&#39;s time to find a nice place to spend the night and get settled.

With the&nbsp;weekend ticket you will be accommodated in camp purple, camp blue or camp yellow. If you have booked a premium ticket, you will stay at the premium campsite. Glamping in cribs and cabins will take place at splash! Ville. &nbsp;

You are free to choose your camping spot, but there is a &quot;first come, first served&quot; principle for the most popular camping spots. Please only camp in the designated areas and always follow the instructions of the security staff. &nbsp;

You will find toilets, drinking water stations and several shower containers throughout the campsite.

<h3>SAFETY AND RULES</h3>

To ensure that all visitors feel safe and comfortable at splash!, your cooperation is required.

Here you will find the most important safety rules at a glance:

	<li>Basically: use your common sense. Be considerate of others and help other people if needed. Of course, you can always approach our awareness staff or other employees who can then provide further support.</li>
	<li>We do not tolerate racist, sexist or discriminatory behavior of any kind. Anyone who does not comply with this runs the risk of being excluded from the festival.</li>
	<li>No glass is allowed on the entire site due to the high risk of injury.</li>
	<li>Barbecues are permitted on the campsite in the containers provided for this purpose (see <a href="https://splash-festival.de/info/faq#erlaubte-und-verbotene-gegenstande">permitted and prohibited items</a>). Please always follow the instructions of our staff.</li>
	<li>Open fires are prohibited for fire safety reasons.</li>
	<li>Weapons are prohibited on the entire site. Cutlery is allowed on the campsite, but unfortunately not on the festival grounds.</li>
	<li>Noise level on the campsite: Of course we want you to have as much fun as possible at our festival around the clock.</li>
	<li>And even if some of you have a long party breath and inexhaustible energy for 3 days in a row, we still ask you to keep the background noise as low as possible, especially at night on the campsite, and to be considerate of those who might want to relax a little so that everyone has enough energy for the next day.</li>
	<li>Stages and crowd barriers: Due to large crowds, various areas in front of the stages may be temporarily closed. This is solely for the safety of visitors and due to official requirements. Again, please be considerate of others and follow the instructions of the staff.</li>

From the camping ground to the festival area &nbsp;

As you can see on the map, the camping area is separated from the festival area towards the main road. Between camping and festival area is a distance of about 15 to 20 minutes walking.&nbsp;

There is a bus shuttle between the camping site and the festival area. All information about shuttle offers can be found here soon.&nbsp;

Alternatively you can walk along the lake to the festival area in about 15 to 20 minutes.

Over three days there will be a big and varied program on and around our stages, the camping site and our FAIRopolis Area.  &nbsp;

On the campground stages Radio Stage and FAIRopolis the program starts every day already in the morning. The festival area with the biggest stages opens in the afternoon. The program will last until the early morning hours. &nbsp;

The site plan is already online, but will be updated until shortly before the festival.

In order to make your first splash! experience as relaxed as possible, we have put together a small guide with the most important information.

Your first time at splash!

Ferropolis is centrally located between Berlin and Leipzig, about 20km away from Dessau in Saxony-Anhalt. The peninsula is easily accessible via Gr&auml;fenhainichen train station by train from Berlin via Lutherstadt Wittenberg or directly from Leipzig or Halle (Saale). From Gr&auml;fenhainichen shuttle buses run at regular intervals to Ferropolis.

With your splash! Festival ticket you have access to the camping area from Wednesday, July 02, 2025.&nbsp;All ticket holders are guaranteed a camping site, no matter when you arrive in Ferropolis.

Please note that you need the Parking Add On&nbsp;to be able to park your car on the parking lot. You can book this on the ticket page.

You can make yourself comfortable on the campsite after your arrival on Wednesday, before the shows of your favorite acts start on Thursday!

At our events, we offer a place to go, a retreat to escape the hustle and bustle for a moment. The Panama Stations and the Awareness Team are intended to enable visitors to the festivals to receive self-determined and self-defined help/support/hearing. Those affected decide for themselves how they perceive their experiences and the Awareness Team helps them to find solutions together.

<h3>Awareness-Team</h3>

The awareness team will wear pink high-visibility vests during the festival and will be present on the site and campsite. At least one person from the team will always remain at the contact points to offer support.

<h1>WHAT SUSTAINABILITY MEANS TO US</h1>

The splash! Festival attaches great importance to sustainability. For us, it&#39;s not just about creating great music and entertainment. We also want to have a positive impact on society and the environment.

<h3 style="margin-left:8px">Ecological responsibility</h3>

We strive to protect the environment and pay attention to the responsible use of resources. Sustainable decisions are the basis for our future viability. We are therefore open to new technologies and innovations in order to change and optimize processes.

Diversity &amp; Inclusion: At the splash! Festival, we celebrate diversity in all its facets by bringing together people from different backgrounds, cultures and identities. We take accessibility and the participation of every festival visitor into account from the very beginning.

Giving &amp; Volunteering: We support you in getting socially involved and use our platform to make social projects and important causes visible.

By 2026, we have focused on pursuing the following goals:

	<li>increase the recycling rate of our waste to at least 50%.</li>

<h2>How we achieve these goals:</h2>

<h3>Energy</h3>

We optimize the efficiency of our energy supply through precise performance and energy measurements. We identify potential savings and reduce the consumption of fossil fuels by increasing the use of alternative energy sources. Part of the electricity required for our festival is generated by the photovoltaic system in Ferropolis.

<h3>Travel &amp; transport</h3>

As most of our festival&#39;s CO2e emissions are generated in the area of travel &amp; transportation, we are working on a holistic design of mobility concepts for you. But we also want to improve in the area of logistics. That is why we are working together with research institutions to jointly develop future-oriented solutions.

<h3>Materials</h3>

In line with the concept of the circular economy, we strive to return all materials used to the cycle and minimize the use of new resources. Our partners support us in this: Trash Galore, Foodsharing, Utopia and eSKa. We also ask our brand partners to refrain from using plastic and packaging.

<h3>Food &amp; Drinks</h3>

In collaboration with Gastrob&uuml;ro, we are expanding our climate-friendly food offering. In 2023, 53% of the food sold was already vegetarian or vegan. We integrate regional suppliers where possible to further increase the sustainability of our catering. <h3>Governance</h3>

By continuously measuring and monitoring our CO2e emissions (Scope 1, Scope 2 and, to a large extent, Scope 3), we create a solid basis for identifying opportunities for improvement.

<h3>&ldquo;The Green EURO&rdquo;</h3>

When you buy your festival ticket, you will come across the &quot;Green Euro&quot;. For every ticket sold, we set aside one euro for sustainable measures. We invest one part of this budget in green infrastructure and sustainable measures on the festival site, while the other part is donated to an NGO or initiative carefully selected by our team. In this way, we jointly set an example for environmental protection and social responsibility. In 2023, the green euro was invested as follows:&nbsp;

Carelessly throwing away cigarette butts in nature pollutes the environment and endangers the health of animals that can ingest the butts. For easy and fun cigarette butt disposal, we have installed ashtrays throughout the festival grounds and camping area.&nbsp;

Using the CROWD IMPACT app, we conducted a visitor survey and determined and evaluated the arrival behavior of our audience.&nbsp;

To clean Lake Gremmin after the festivals, we have financed a cleaning campaign with divers who collect waste from the water to preserve the intact ecosystem.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Together with pupils from the Gesamtschule im Gartenreich (Oranienbaum W&ouml;rlitz), we sorted our waste in a waste analysis and determined which recyclable materials are contained in the waste and how high the recycling rate is. This will enable us to improve our waste concept even further.&nbsp;

We also decided to invest part of the green euro in expanding the solar panels in Ferropolis so that we can gradually supply the splash! with more green electricity. (More on this soon).&nbsp;

<h3>RESEARCH PROJECT ECO2CONCERT</h3>

For the first time in its history, splash! is part of a research project. We want to reduce our emissions and to do this we are working with partners from science and research, from the festival sector and from the private sector to collect and model energy, mobility and consumption data and to develop a planning platform for sustainable festival logistics. An important building block on the way to an even more sustainable splash! is the climate accounting of our festival. An individual chip id is stored on your chip, which is linked to your name and email address, and stored in your virtual account. This data is required for refunds and transferring your credit balance. A record is also made in your virtual account of when, at which sales stand location and what amount was debited from the chip. This data is required to settle account with the vendors on site and helps Gastrobuero to improve its range of goods and services in the future. Most people already know The Green Euro.

&nbsp;

The principle behind it is: 1 euro from each festival ticket is used to fund sustainability measures. The splash! team then doubles this amount again and half of the resulting budget will be used for the development of green infrastructures on the festival grounds, the other half will be donated to an NGO or initiative that the splash! team chooses each year.

This year, we decided to use the contributions from the Green Euro to support the Naturpark D&uuml;bner Heide e.V., which is committed to the renaturation of the J&ouml;sigk nature reserve. The nature reserve not far from our festival grounds in Ferropolis serves both as a habitat for numerous endangered species, but is also an effective carbon storage source, which means it provides valuable support for climate protection.
