PLEASE NOTE: Starting when advance ticket sales for 2027 begin, the minimum age for splash! 2027 will be 16!

The following applies to splash! 2026 presented by Sprite:

Children up to 12 years of age are NOT admitted to the festival grounds.

Adolescents under 16 are admitted only if accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (“parental consent form” + accompanying adult).

Adolescents aged 16 and over may enter the open-air event until midnight without being accompanied by a person with parental authority or legal guardian.*
After 12am they need to be accompanied by the person with parental authority.

“Legal guardian” means the person who has sole or joint custody of the child with another person in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code.

A person with parental authority is any person over 18 years of age who is permanently or temporarily responsible for parental duties on the basis of an agreement with the person with parental authority or who looks after a child or young person in the context of education or youth welfare (§ 1 para. 1 no. 4 JuSchG).
